Ben Satin of Satin Wellness has assisted me in overcoming a debilitating case of Spinal Stenosis so that I can continue my dental practice. I see Ben three times per week, and it is amazing how good I feel during and more importantly, after our sessions. Waking up at 5:30 to see Ben at my home is not the easiest thing in the world, but without it I would not have been able to continue practicing.
Since 1994 I have been training with Steve and Ben Satin of Satin Wellness. Using LROME™ and working with Ben has made me stronger! He helped me recover from two heart attacks, three major surgeries and multiple strokes much sooner than expected.
Ben spoke with my doctors and developed a program to help me get all the way back. Working with Ben has been a lifesaver; when we first started back after my second major heart attack I could only exercise with one pound hand weights and walk 5 minutes at a time. I am now strength training three times a week and I’m very strong. Not bad for 78 years old!
I needed help to regain my strength due to aging and a recent stroke. I hadn’t realized how weak I was until I came home from the Rehab Hospital. I called Satin Wellness, and first Steve and then Ben Satin came into my home and helped me regain mobility.
After my debilitating stroke, I was afraid I would never be able to walk again. Ben helped me regain my mobility and become independent again. It is wonderful to be able to move back into my home, stay here and get back to work. Ben, you’re kind, caring, empathetic and know exactly what I needed.
Being overweight is an issue as a doctor. Having a stroke was an issue for my life and family. I decided to do something about it.
I did my research and called Steve Satin of Satin Wellness. I went to physical therapy; which was great, but when I finished I needed more, and Steve and then Ben Satin were all I could ever ask for! They come to my home at my time (6 a.m.), concentrated on my specific issues, helped me get further than I ever would have on my own.
I have experienced chronic, excruciating pain during the past year. I had tried several remedies, including chiropractic and treatment from various physical therapists, all of which seemed to have minimal, if any, impact on the recurring pain and mobility. Following my first treatment with Mark Linkiewicz, however, I observed a tangible reduction in pain and discomfort.
Following subsequent treatments, and a daily regimen of exercise, the pain appears to have been completely eliminated. In addition, the stretching and strengthening program Mark developed for me is inspiring confidence that the pain will not recur. I am delighted with the results. It is great to be pain-free after almost a year of discomfort. I look forward to Mark coming to my home for every session and look forward to many more years of working with him.
I was a former cyclist and Triathlete who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in an automobile accident ten years ago. My prognoses while in a five month coma was pessimistic – even to survive. I had therapy periodically, but that has been sporadic and has essentially stopped.

Coming out of a 9 month stay in a rehab hospital after suffering a brain injury with intense atrophy, Ben Satin changed my life. During those 9 months, I could not even support my neck and could barely walk.

I have spent many, many hours in traditional physical therapy over the last 10-15 years for help with my lower back. Some of it was very helpful, but the problems always came back. There are two big differences between physical therapy and sessions with Steve Satin.
The obvious one is that he is paid to spend more time tailoring exercises and sessions to my specific needs, unlike physical therapists that are seeing many more people to the point that I sometimes felt like I was part of an assembly line. I was lucky enough to find a company with quite a bit of experience that would work with me online. I travel quite a bit and it was the only way we could meet consistently. I wanted a trainer who could motivate me and did not offer a “one size fits all program.” A mutual acquaintance introduced me to Mark Linkiewicz. He’s not your typical trainer. Mark understands the obstacles to good health that people like me face daily. He worked with me to customize a workout and dietary program that I can stick with over time.
Is it hard to stick to the workout and diet programs? The answer is yes. In the past year, however, I have radically changed my diet. I now actually enjoy and look forward to eating more fruits, vegetables, and fish. I check in daily with my specialist about what I eat and drink, and I am honest about my limitations and the constant challenges I face with never ending business lunches, dinners, and receptions. I am a work in progress but I am happy so far. I have lost some weight and have been keeping it off. I have more to lose, but I know it will take time. As for my back and flexibility issues, I feel 10 to 15 years younger. I no longer have any back pain or spasms. I am driving the golf ball an extra 40 to 50 yards and can pick up items off the floor without worrying about pulling a back muscle. I can work out with my boys who are now high school and college athletes. I am content with being in good shape for my age. Mark’s methods work. He is trustworthy, honest, and caring.
I’m a Physician and I speak with my patients all day about their needing to lose weight. I had the hardest time following my own advice. I worked too many hours and then had to take care of my two sons. There was never any time for myself. After developing Type 2 Diabetes, I realized it was time. I wanted to make sure the program he developed was scientifically based. When I found that he was using a program that was based in science, I was hooked. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I was in horrific pain, had swollen hands and feet and my entire body felt like a huge abscessed tooth. My fear of methotrexate, the recommended treatment kept me in constant discomfort. After three months I relented and combined with prednisone, the methotrexate kicked in and I was able to get back to fairly normal activities.
However, I was not strong as I had not done any physical activity during this time. In fact, I was discouraged from exercising for fear of exacerbating the inflammation of RA. Not realizing the many nuances of physical therapy, I was skeptical of its benefits for me. Also, within the past year I have been diagnosed with avascular necrosis of my right hip and have been told that a hip replacement is in my future.
These were my issues when I met with Ben Satin from Satin Wellness. By targeting my aches and pains and all-around weakness with muscle stretches, he has been extremely helpful in controlling my hip and knee discomfort as well as increasing my range of motion which has been severely compromised as a result of the aforementioned ailments. The LROME™ strength exercises and stretches worked immediately and it’s a blessing to know I can actually control pain that way!
In closing, I am grateful for my introduction to Ben Satin and his way of Training. LROME™ is incredible and his knowledge of how the body works and reacts continues to impress me and I would recommend him highly.
We avoided exercise for years despite our doctor’s urgings. We had no interest — we had no time. And then the injuries and surgeries began which took enormous rehab efforts and brought great inconvenience to our lives…Rotator cuff, quad tendon severed lower back sprain, etc”. Miraculously we found Ben Satin. Gingerly we began working with him and the program he planned for us. Now we are far more agile and much stronger and eagerly look forward to our bi-weekly workouts. We even do the daily stretches and strengthening exercises that he designed for us. The workouts are fun because of Ben’s sense of humor, but we have made great progress because of all of his vast knowledge and ability to tailor the day’s exercise to the immediate need.
As for motivation, Ben and Satin Wellness are first-rate and you have led us to a better life in every way — and to think we were so sure we had no interest and no time for something which has become very important to us!
4 years ago, I had quite a few physical issues and was looking online for a Personal Trainer. As a Physician, I knew what I didn’t want. No boot camp or yelling. I wanted someone to come to my home and work with me in a safe way. Enter Ben Satin.
Since working with Be, my shoulder bursitis has resolved. The exercises targeting specific muscle groups done appropriately and correctly has been quite enlightening for me and noticeably helpful! This is a regimen that I know I can stick with!
I have noted more strength when I hit a tennis ball. With bicycling, my ease with going up hills has improved. As a teenage athlete, I have worked with many trainers, coaches, and pros in my time; many of these people have been nationally recognized in their respective fields. Yet, none of these people affected my life as profoundly as Steve has.
Steve taught me everything I needed to begin a rigorous training program. I also suffered from acute laziness and he inspired me with motivation. The only way to express my appreciation for what Steve has taught me is to continue the life-style of exercise and wellness.
Working with Ben Satin has taught me so much about the mental aspect of exercise. What I like the most is his emphasis on form first. Small adjustments make such a huge difference and I could see changes pretty quickly. They always seem to know what I need, what I can take any given week. Ben knows when I need to be serious, and when he needs to cut me some slack. As to how much and how fast I lost this weight, I lost the first 100 pounds by the six month mark, 160 pounds by the one year mark, and an additional 13 pounds since January 10. I started at 340 pounds! I am now at 170 and I am running marathons!! Every drop of sweat has transformed me not only physically, but I’ve also become mentally stronger everyday.

During an extremely busy and very stressful time in my life, I was starting to eat more and more cookies, and I was also in-between trainers. I not only had very limited time, but I was a bit shy to go back to the gym. However, the smartest (and most luxurious) thing I did for myself at that point was to have a trainer come to the house.
During this all-consuming time in my life, Ben Satin, Pat Boudrot and Mark Linkiewicz have come to my home and worked with me. When I started using LROME™, I understood that when you use proper strength training you don’t need heavy weights; just proper form. By them coming over to train with me four times a week, I was able to increase my fitness level that would have woefully suffered had I not seen them. I’ve worked with Stephanie Brust and Susan Benson during my winters on Palm Beach Island. I am in the best shape since I was young. My days are normally filled with sitting at my computer for most of the day. Putting my body through the extremes of no exercise to heavy demand and adrenaline for up to 1 hour, used to lead to pulled muscles and severe lower and upper back injuries. Loading the car for seasonal move back up north usually was all it took to incur an injury.
Since working at my home with Stephanie and Susan, I am much stronger and haven’t been injured once. That says it all right there. In the off season when I’m in Maryland, I do the program they developed for me to stay in good shape. All people should give 20 – 30 minutes, two to three days a week to maintain good health. That is all it takes with the Satin Wellness LROME program.
I have worked out with Steve and Ben Satin at my home. As a football player, I constantly have injuries that need treatment. Whether it was a torn labrum, lower back pain, or flexibility issues, Steve and Ben have helped me by developing surgical strength training to reduce my pain.
Besides having injuries, Ben developed a football weight training program specially designed for my strengths and weaknesses. He has a vast amount of knowledge, and is easy to contact if I want new information, or develop new injuries, or questions. Overall, he does a great job keeping me in shape and preparing me in the off season, while helping me to recover from injuries.
I tried many different approaches to working out but was never satisfied. I could never find a gym that was able to work with me on my level. Most of the gyms that I went to were either way too difficult for me or too intimidating.
Meeting Pat Boudrot of Satin Wellness in December was a welcome relief and an important step in my personal fitness life. She has a unique ability to meet someone exactly where they are instead of where she wants them to be. She knows how to push someone to try harder while at the same time respecting and accepting them. I feel completely comfortable with her. I’m not afraid to tell her about my challenged areas regarding working out.
I’ve even started to do some working out myself which I certainly never would’ve even considered before I met her. I even dare say that she has been able to make working out fun. With something so important as one’s fitness and health, it should be accessible, meaningful and personal. With Pat it has been all of this and more. In a matter of weeks, Kimberly Chase set me up with an exercise system which eliminated pain and enabled me to know and believe that I simply cannot fail to continue to improve my strength and flexibility.
I am a 73-year-old female who has been exercising regularly since the age of 12. I have stayed at highly rated residential spas in the United States and Canada and worked with personal trainers in athletic clubs, personal training studios, resorts, as well as in my own home. Yet nowhere have I encountered a personalized exercise program which works so well for me as my Satin Wellness 5 Day a Week Home Health Plan.
Quite the contrary, right after a 2 week stay at one of the supposed top US residential spas my CBC bloodwork actually declined (probably because they overworked and overstressed me with too much exercise). Elsewhere a personal trainer had me lifting such heavy weights that after our sessions I felt drained and exhausted rather than vigorous and energetic. And many, many times over decades of group exercise classes and private sessions, I heard damaging comments like “No pain, no gain” and a yoga favorite “Stretch to the point of discomfort” which for me meant stretch until you bring on the pain.
LROME™ (Limited Range of Motion Exercise) is dramatically different from my past exercise experience. AND SO MUCH BETTER. Kimberly began with a personal health and exercise interview and followed that up with a 14-point assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. Only then did she begin introducing exercises suitable for me. Not for my neighbor or a hypothetical other, but suitable FOR ME. She photographed me doing these exercises and e-mailed me simple, clear written instructions for each exercise. She preached that pain was bad and should be avoided at all cost. And Kimberly made it clear that after a workout one should feel energized and happy rather than drained and exhausted.
It just so happened that after working out with Kimberly about 5 weeks, I was due for a physical with blood work. My doctor remarked, that my cholesterol numbers had improved and my immune system as measured by antibody tests I regularly take showed that my immune system was “kicking in” after a previous infectious illness. My long standing, usually present knee pain was virtually nonexistent. This was a dramatic contrast to bloodwork which declined after a prestigious residential spa visit when I was decades younger.
