Sheela Calhoun
Sheela Calhoun has worked in the field of health and wellness for more than twenty years. She has a background in nursing, nutrition education, personal training, counseling and coaching. Sheela received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College, is a Certified Wellness Coach with Wellcoaches® Corporation, and Certified Personal Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine.

Karein Freehill
Karein left clinical nursing 10 years ago as she saw there was a great need for preventative medicine. “In order to improve our quality of life, we need to learn what makes us healthy and gives us balance. There is so much information out there and it is getting more and more difficult to figure out what is best”. Karein was determined to develop a program specific to individual needs and expectations and that is when she found Satin Wellness. She believes fitness can be fun and effective if you find what works for you. She has worked with clients of all ages and believes that helping people to be at their best is especially rewarding.

Melissa Galvin

When coaching student athletes, Missy quickly realized the importance of strength training for sport performance and injury prevention. Missy has been personal training clients of all ages in their homes, businesses, fitness studios, and schools for over 15 years.

As a mother of a 3 & 4 year old, Missy knows first hand how important it is to achieve a healthy lifestyle and have increased energy to keep up with kids.

Melanie Ludwig
Melanie has over 30 years of experience in the health and fitness field.  After five years of training clients in fitness centers, she decided she wanted to bring the “personal” into personal training by working with clients in their homes and offices.  She prides herself using training techniques based on research, not fads or gimmicks.  Melanie participates regularly in health and fitness seminars.

Harry Pino PhD, EPC
As a PhD and Exercise Physiologist I've worked with many patients helping them get ready for Gastric Bypass Surgery and post-operatively helped them reach their goals.  I want to bring my expertise to the clients of Satin Wellness. The reason I decided to become a Wellness Specialist with Satin Wellness, is to follow my passion, go to the front lines and help make a difference!  I will be working with people in the New York and New Jersey area.

Steve Satin
Very few people find it easy to stay at their desired weight, even someone that “should” know better. At 260 pounds, Steve Satin battled weight and sports related injuries and began to realize that it was hard to discern the various methods, equipment and information available to someone wanting to get healthy and well.
